Most of the difference between a mediocre result and an excellent one comes from how you ask, not from which model you pick. These are the habits that make the biggest difference in daily use.

1. Fill in your AI context once

The context form in your settings travels with every conversation: your role, your industry, the tone you want. Filling it in takes two minutes and removes the paragraph of preamble you would otherwise retype at the start of every prompt.

2. Say what the output is for

"Write a product description" and "write a 40-word product description for a marketplace listing, factual, no superlatives" produce very different results. Naming the format, the length and the audience is the single highest-return change you can make to a prompt.

3. Iterate in the same conversation

Starting over loses everything the model already knows about your task. Ask for a correction instead: shorter, more formal, keep the second paragraph. Two or three rounds usually beat one perfect prompt.

4. Use the right workspace

The image, music, video and code workspaces are not skins on the chat — each one is wired to a model chosen for that job, with the controls that matter for it. Generating a visual from the code workspace is a slower route to a worse result.

5. Keep what works

Favourite the conversations and renders you will want again, and search rather than scroll — the search covers every workspace and every message, not just conversation titles.

Conclusion

None of this requires a new subscription or a plugin. Set your context, be specific about the output, iterate in place, and the quality gap closes on its own.
